Heartland Glass Company was started in 1980 by Ray Schueller, Mal Patton and Jim Scherer who met while working together at St. Cloud Glass. Heartland Glass was acquired in 1990 by Brin Northwestern Glass Company (now Brin Glass Company), a century-old glass manufacturer in Minneapolis.
Bill Sullivan, now president of Brin Glass, managed Heartland Glass as part of the Brin family of companies and led the company through tremendous growth becoming an established regional glazing contractor. In 2007, Sullivan acquired Heartland Glass and ran the company independently for several years.
In July 2013, Heartland Glass officially re-merged with Brin Glass to provide expanded opportunities for both customers and employees. Brin Glass Company also became an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) – part of Sullivan’s vision to grow and retain great industry talent and best serve clients.
Clients choose to work with Heartland Glass repeatedly because of the quality of the experience they know they will have in working with us. It starts from the initial call where a real person answers the phone and extends to our friendly and knowledgeable staff who coordinate the efficient installation of industry leading quality products at a fair price. Hence our motto ‘Quality Clear Through.’
