Apollo High School | St. Cloud, MN

The Challenge

The St. Cloud Apollo High School press box had outdated, inefficient windows that severely impacted visibility and functionality. The original single-hung windows no longer opened or closed properly and had fogged glass, while shaped windows were fitted with inadequate plexiglass. These issues not only affected the aesthetics but also compromised the comfort and usability of the space for football, soccer, and track events.

Our Solution

Partnering with Bradbury Stamm as the contractor, we addressed these challenges by replacing the entire front of the press box with new, energy-efficient Wojan single-hung windows. For the shaped side windows, we utilized Tubelite Versatherm framing to ensure proper fit and insulation, installing new insulated glass. Additionally, we replaced two more single-hung windows at the back of the press box, ensuring a complete upgrade of the space’s glazing system.

Results Accomplished

The project was completed on time, with our installation phase beginning on August 12 and wrapping up by September 16. The press box now features modern, fully functional windows that improve ventilation, visibility, and energy efficiency. The use of high-quality Wojan windows and Tubelite framing ensures durability and reduced maintenance, enhancing the overall experience for both staff and spectators during games and events.
